Retired 'Hall of Fame' teacher shares Rochester Pride '24 photos of children in same album as fetish images
Richard Ognibene Jr. was once a teacher in Fairport, NY. He occasionally does activism for children's LGBTQ issues. He will be speaking in Denver concerning that very issue on 25 July.
A ‘Hall of Fame’ teacher scheduled for a major teacher’s event this week once posted social media content appearing to show himself surrounded by sexual paraphiliacs and children at the same event, the GVO has learned.
Richard Ognibene Jr, a past moderator for the National Teacher Leadership Conference and a highly decorated retiree of Fairport High School, posted the sexually charged virtual album of photos, claiming they were from the 2024 “Rochester Pride” event.
GVO.News requested public comments by posting on the album, but received no response. Within two hours of our request, the photo album and its contents were no longer visible.
The album was a sickening mix of photos and videos of children celebrating the event, intermixed with photos of himself and other adult men wearing rainbow-colored briefs. Some of the adults found within the album can be seen wearing nipple straps, animal-themed sex gear, and ‘furry’ masks, common among paraphilics who subscribe to ‘pup play’ fetishes.
Because of the adult nature of Ognibene’s questionable photo album—which was openly hosted on the social media platform Facebook—the GVO has decided not to provide a clear image for our readers out of security concerns.
Ognibene can be seen wearing the same shirt throughout the Rochester Pride post. He also participates in the parade, which was held last Saturday, 20 July. The evidence suggests these photos were all taken on the same day as the upload. Ognibene’s shirt broadcasts his homosexuality, asking readers, “IS IT GAY IN HERE OR IS IT JUST ME?”
A teacher since 1986 and Fairport Schools employee since ‘93, Richard Ognibene Jr. is the son of two Siena College professors. In 2015, he became a ‘Hall of Fame’ teacher, an honor bestowed upon only “115 teachers” at the time. He eventually retired in 2020 and has since served the National Teacher Leadership Conference at least once in 2018.
The locally acclaimed educator previously penned an article suggesting gay educators could help queer-curious children “safely navigate same-sex dating.” An American Federation of Teachers affiliate later shared the piece.
Ognibene asserts he will speak at their 2024 event on Thursday.
The openly homosexual teacher has served in various offices for the Fairport Educator’s Association and has been engaged in LGBTQ activism for impressionable children since at least 2008. As previously mentioned, he has written an article on the subject as recently as 2022.
In his hometown near Schenectady, NY, Ognibene states that his family was Gentile members of the local Jewish Community Center. After Hamas attacked Israel on 7 Oct 2023, Ognibene pledged his full-throated moral support to Israel, referring to Jews as “strong allies” for the LGBTQ community. Ognibene also claimed to “frequent that JCC [Rochester] to enjoy their theatre productions.”
Excluding Ognibene’s support for the jingoistic State of Israel, it is fair to call Ognibene a conventional ‘liberal’ on the LGBTQ question, immigration, women’s health/abortion, and a plethora of other issues.
The case of Richard Ognibene Jr. and his questionable photo album may lead many to wonder where political activism and altruism ends, and anti-social pleasure seeking may begin. Ognibene's blurring of the lines between erotic and family-friendly is among the least offensive behavior LGBTQ educators have been accused of locally.
Anne Collins, a former social worker and Brockport Junior Varsity coach pleaded not guilty to nine counts of Criminal Sexual Acts, stemming from allegations of inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old female player in 2018. Court documents describe five instances where Collins allegedly drove the victim to various locations for these acts. Collins posted bail and is scheduled to return to court in September.
The former principal of Northwood Elementary School, Kirk Ashton is in the midst of a 20-year sentence after being convicted of the sexual abuse of 21 male students in 2022. Ashton is in the process of appealing his sentence, arguing a juror fell asleep during the trial. Ashton was eligible to retire with a pension as early as last year.
On the national scene, an LGBTQ activist couple were arrested for various sexual abuses of their adopted ‘sons.’ The two gay males, William Dale Zulock and Zachary Jacoby Zulock were also accused of prostituting the then 9- and 11-year-olds to other local homosexuals. William Zulock signed an affidavit affirming some of the abuses.
