[VIDEO] 'White boy' Conservative says Blacks most affected after Afro-Hispanic former Judge calls for him to be 'murdered'
Kevin Lockhart and Leticia Astacio's public spat is a microcosm of a core American political problem: one group openly hates Whites while the other ignores them at all costs. [approx. 750 words]
Former judge and current attorney, Leticia Astacio, allegedly threatened Conservative activist, Kevin Lockhart with "murder" while referring to his race.
In a recent clip from a late April Facebook live stream, Astacio—who is mixed race—can be heard saying, "I will get you murdered right now, White boy," in reference to Kevin Lockhart, a local White Conservative.
One of the three streamers that appear alongside Astacio during this racially charged threat of violence appears to be VP of the Rochester City School School Board, Beatriz LeBron, a Hispanic. In the days following, Lockhart crafted a response video rebuking Astacio's comments as offensive to "the true culture of the melanated families [Black people] in Rochester,” despite being targeted for being White.
In his response, Lockhart also claimed to have involved the police. Excluding his quotations of Astacio, and no attention is drawn to the anti-White nature of the comments.
During the broadcast, Beatriz LeBron also alleges that Lockhart is a "stalker” seeking to “agitate activists in the Black community.”
Our Monday morning requests for comment via email to Beatriz LeBron and a voicemail to Astacio remain unanswered. We also requested that LeBron comment on the stalking accusations.
The same day as our request for comment, Leticia Astacio hosted a livestream where she did not directly address GVO or the Lockhart situation. Rather, Astacio spent 52 minutes lambasting the public for disrespecting her privacy and making off-color remarks about White people she interacted with in daily life.
Astacio did, however, briefly and in a general way, dismiss any appearance of her "hood" lifestyle, including ideations of violence, as mere "cosplay" or acting.
Astacio also posted at least once directly concerning the Lockhart feud.
In reaching out to Lockhart via text message, we asked for the full video, which may also have included more details on LeBron's accusations of stalking against Lockhart.
Our reporter suggested multiple methods for sending the file. This request was not granted.
In texts with GVO, Lockhart denied the relevancy of gauging the sense of security White families with children in the city school district may or may not have. Lockhart attempted to redirect the conversation toward budgets and elections before finally abandoning our discussion.
In our multiple conversations, Lockhart often employs this aforementioned denialism in reference to White rights. On the other hand, Lockhart openly advocates for Blacks and Jews (below), a seemingly conflicted, though thoroughly Republican position.
Leticia Astacio is a current lawyer and former judge for the City of Rochester. In 2016 the NYS Court of Appeals noted that Astacio had incurred "six charges of misconduct" and removed her from the bench after nearly two years of service.
Astacio would later serve 180 days in jail for violating probation terms stemming from a drunk driving incident. Astacio was also charged with attempting to purchase a shotgun while on probation illegally, but the charges were dismissed.
Anti-White commentary is a near-daily occurrence on Astacio's various social media accounts. Astacio seems to have felt that White children are also fair game, doxing several of them by name for acts of alleged racism.
The words "Jew" and "Israel" turned up zero original search results on the self-proclaimed “revolutionary’s” Facebook account.
As Vice President of the Rochester City School District Board, LeBron helps lead an approximately 21,000-student body, nearly 9% of which are White as of 2023.
This year, LeBron became the subject of a criminal investigation when County Legislator Mercedes Vazquez-Simmons alleged that LeBron had threatened to "break her face" in a meeting of the County Legislature. LeBron admitted to calling Vazquez-Simmons a "pendeja" but not to threatening her. WXXI called this an expletive, while Bing and Google translated the Spanish word to "stupid" and "asshole" respectively.
In 2018, New York State developed the "Hate Crimes Task Force" in order to counter "[an] increase in bias-motivated threats, harassment and violence throughout New York State."
We have referred this incident to the NYS Hate Crimes Task Force as a precautionary measure.
